For Spring Summer 2021, Danshan reflects on the moment of breaking free - emotionally, mentally, and aesthetically. This collection channels the energy of release from the repressive values traditionally placed on men, and the clarity that comes with emotional autonomy. Freedom here is not static - it’s a motion, a process. The collection captures that transitional state: the split second where restraint gives way to self-expression. Fluid georgette and satin are central to the collection, with embroidered streams and abstract splash formations that mimic movement and disruption. Shapes flow, fall, and spill - garments that speak not only to softness, but to the power of letting go. The collection is a celebration of emotional freedom, in all its spontaneity, contradiction, and joy.
